Homemade Energy Bar


I made these this morning, tired of having the same bars over and over and they are super delicious, easy to pull off, and works perfectly as a quick and filling snack, another great recipe for VeganMoFo I hope you have time to try them out.

Ingredients:

1 cup of rolled oats

1 cup of whole wheat flour

1/3 cup of brown sugar

1/4 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

Tiny bit of ground nutmeg

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/4 cup shredded coconut

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1 tbsp. flax-seed

1/2 cup of coconut oil (melted)

3 tbsp. of cranberry juice (or grape juice, whichever you prefer)

Instructions:

-Heat the oven to 325 F and lightly oil a baking pan.

-Combine all the dry ingredients, the pour in the oil and juice and mix it well.

-Press it into the baking pan and bake for about 40 minutes or until browned, let it cool and cut into bar-size slices.

Super easy right?
