Super quick and filling breakfast, the apples and oatmeal make a perfect pair and it’s really easy to make.
For the caramelized apples you need:
1 tbsp. of pure maple syrup
2 tsp. of cinnamon
1 tsp. apple butter
For the oatmeal:
1 cup of almond milk
1 cup of raw oats
1 tsp. of almond butter
Handful of raisins
-Place a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat add the maple syrup and immediately add your sliced apples, followed by the cinnamon and apple butter, stir constantly, cover and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
-Meanwhile prepare your oatmeal, add all the ingredients at once , stirring occasionally for about 6 minutes or until oats are cooked.
-Uncover the apples, raise the heat a little and keep stirring for another 5 minutes or until the liquid has caramelized.
-Serve and sprinkle with raisins
