Walnut-Dulse Pâté (Raw)


Extremely tasty, super healthy and very versatile. Try it out:)

 Ingredients:

3/4 cup of raw walnuts > Soaked overnight

1/2 cup of raw cashews >Soaked overnight

1/2 cup of dulse

1/2 celery stalk

2 slices of onion

Juice of 1/2 lime

5 tbsp. of water ( I used the soaking water from the nuts)

1 tsp. of garlic powder

1 tsp. of parsley flakes

1/4 tsp. of ground peppercorn

Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

-Place the soaked walnuts and cashews in the food processor and mix for about 5 minutes stirring constantly.

-Add in the rest of the ingredients and continue to mix until you get sort of a Pâté texture and  all the dulse is evenly distributed and the mixture has a nice soft purple color.

**Eat it with veggies or whole wheat pita bread as a dip, as filling for your wraps, cream “cheese” for your bagel, or simply use your imagination**
